Final 4 of College Chess at Marshall CC

On the weekend of April 2nd and 3rd, the Marshall Chess Club will host the Final 4 of College Chess.

Grandmasters Irina Krush and Maxim Dlugy will be providing analysis and commentary.

The club will close early on Friday, April 1st, to set up for the tournament.

All other club events (Saturday junior class, weekend tournaments) will be canceled that weekend.

Additionally, there will be no space for private lessons or casual play.

Tourney Results at Golda Och Academy

On Thursday, the final class of the winter 2016 session took place at Golda Och Academy in the after school enrichment program on chess, conducted by Enrich and Grow Academy and coached by me.

First place in the tournament went to David Milstein who won every game.  He was trailed by Eva Bucovsky and Spencer Feig in second and third places respectively.  

All three received medals, along with the certificates that were awarded to the six students in the class.
