At Contre Gambit Philidor, Frederic Fournier prefers 7...Nf6, instead of my 7...Qd6 against NM Michael Thaler. Fritz8 evaluates both moves as equal for Black. After 7...Nf6, White can force a draw by 8.Nf7 Qe7 9.O-O Rg8 10.Ng5 Rh8 11.Nf7, etc. The move 7...Qd6 keeps the game alive.
