Chess Trainer on iPhone and Web

Simon Louchart has developed Chess Trainer, an iPhone app that helps people to improve their chess.  These free lessons are targeted at beginners to teach them the basics.  Now Simon has made a web version.

Each lesson is about 250 pages long and focuses on different aspects:

lesson 1 -  piece and pawn moves, captures, special moves, checkmate, and stalemate;

lesson 2  -  piece values, captures, exchanges, and threats;

lesson 3 -  tactical patterns (such as forks, skewers, etc.), "find the right move" puzzles, and opening principles.
