On Tuesday, September 22nd, grandmaster Pascal Charbonneau will be the guest lecturer at the Marshall Chess Club, where the New York Knights play their USCL games via the Internet. Charbonneau will discuss the triumphs and travails of the Knights in the United States Chess League.
In addition to being the 2005 MVP in the USCL, Charbonneau is a two-time Canadian chess champion [2002 and 2004]. He has been a member of the Canadian Olympiad team since 2000 and defeated GM Viswanathan Anand at the 2006 Olympiad.
The lecture begins at 7pm and is free to club members [$10 non-members].
