GM-elect Alex Lenderman outplayed Anna Matlin, in round one. Lenderman finished the event in first place with a perfect score of 4 points. Matlin rebounded from this loss by winning her next three games.
Meanwhile GM Sergey Kudrin bested George Grasser. Kudrin won three straight before losing to Lenderman in the final round.
NM Igor Yeliseyev ended the tournament with 3 points, failing only against Kudrin.
