In a unanimous vote, international master Dean Ippolito is the recipient of the 2011 Frank J. Marshall Ambassador Award from the U.S. Chess Federation.It will be presented at the annual USCF awards luncheon held on August 6, 2011 during the U.S. Open in Orlando FL.
Ippolito joins such well-known chess names as grandmasters Maurice Ashley, Gregory Kaidanov and John Fedorowicz as recipients of this prestigious award.
