On Friday, the winter 2014 session ended at Central Avenue School in the after school enrichment class on chess, coached by me for Enrich and Grow Academy.
The tournament results are, as follows. Graham Bradshaw was the clear winner with 5 points, a half point ahead of Samantha Prabakaran, Anthony Wilson, and Ruby Jorgensen. On tie-breaks, Samantha was awarded second place; and Anthony, third place. The top three players received certificates.
Copies of Chess Life and Chess Life for Kids magazines were distributed to all thirteen students.
