A Lecture by Grandmaster Efstratios Grivas.
Efstratios Grivas was born in Egio, Achaia, Greece and grew up in Athens. Under the guidance of many prominent trainers, including GM Efim Geller, he attained all titles awarded by the Greek Chess Federation and the International Chess Federation (FIDE). His greatest success was winning the Silver Individual Medal (on 3rd board) at the 33rd Chess Olympiad in 1998. He is an award-winning chess author and journalist. He is also famous for his work as a chess trainer, being awarded the title of FIDE Senior Trainer in 2004.
