The Newark Sleepless Knights (NSK), the first Essex County Chess Club with quintessential objective to excel, announces its Biweekly Chess Tournament with prizes beginning on Saturday, September 7, 2008 at its home office, the Boylan Recreation Center (926 S Orange Ave, Newark, NJ - Yahoo map: http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&lat=40.746044&lon=-74.226504&zoom=17&q1=926) at 2 P.M. The prizes will depend on gate receipts and will be apportioned as follows: First Prize, 40%; Second Prize, 20%; Third Prize, 10%. Registration fees: Members: $5.00, Nonmembers: $7.00. The tournament format: Swiss System, Game 30 (i.e., 30-minutes).
