Kudos to Kantor

In 1999, Alan Kantor accomplished the unprecedented feat of being a member on two different teams that won U.S. chess championships in the same year.

Kantor was third board on my team Clinton: Insufficient Losing Chances at the 1999 USATE in New Jersey. Later that year, he played on the winning team at the U.S. Open Team tournament in Missouri.

Recently, Kantor scored 2.5 out of 3 as alternate on the first place team at the 2007 USATE.
