Yang - Ferrero

In the under-1900 section of this year's New Jersey Open, Atlantic Chess News editor Steve Ferrero won the following game. Both players finished the tournament in a 6-way tie for first place.

The minor piece ending, in which Black's knight outplays White's bishop, is one that can arise from the Philidor Counter Gambit, which is basically the Latvian Gambit deferred.
