Yesterday the winter 2013 session ended at Center Grove Elementary School, in the after school enrichment program on chess that I coach through Enrich and Grow Academy.
With a perfect score of 6 points, Aidan Jackson won the tournament. The runner-up was Aidan Torres with 4 points. Tied for third through fourth, a half point behind, were Ezekiel Ehrenberg and Tristan Pudell-Spatscheck.
The two Aidans and Zeke received medals, with a book prize being awarded to Tristan.
Other recipients of chess books were Matthew Jones, Daniel Oppenheimer, Benjamin Trinker, and Mason Ziegler.
