Do you remember me? Alejandro Melchor, from Barcelona, Spain (...and Fajarowicz Gambit and Philidor/Latvian Countergambit...). Only a question: Did you know a player of '70s called Eugene Salomon? He played in you own club. (He lived in Spain at '40s!!). Enclosed his e-book. He played against Alekhine too!!

According to the annual 2015 issue (page 8) of Atlantic Chess News, Gene Salomon attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the Toms River Chess Club in 2014.

"My study of chess was accompanied by a strong attraction to music, and it was probably thanks to this that from childhood I became accustomed to thinking of chess as an art, and have never regarded it as anything else, for all the science and sport involved in it. And, moreover, an art which in some ways is closer to music than it is customary to think.
