2011 UNITED STATES CHESS LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
featuring GM Giorgi Kacheishvili in his first lecture in the U.S.
Please join us for a celebratory reception in honor of the New York Knights, the 2011 U.S. Chess League champions. The Marshall Chess Club hosted the team, managed by IM Irina Krush and GM Pascal Charbonneau throughout the season.
Following the reception, grandmaster Giorgi Kacheishvili will, in his first lecture in the U.S., present and analyze some of the most interesting games of the season. GM Kacheishvili, a two time champion of Georgia, is the winner of many national and international tournaments, as well as one of the country’s most sought after coaches. His students include grandmasters and international masters.
