The last after school chess class of the fall 2011 session, run by Enrich and Grow Academy, took place on Monday afternoon at Shongum Elementary School, one of two schools in Randolph where I teach chess.A tournament was held during the final three weeks. The winner was David Popkin, with a perfect score of 3-0-0. Tied for second through fourth places were Mason Copeland, Drew Glauberg, and Eric Wagener, all with scores of 2-0-1. On tie breaks, Mason Copeland and Drew Glauberg were awarded second and third place respectively.
